Tony Purdy

I have been a serious painter since 1993 working in both watercolour and oils. Since being able to take the option of early retirement in 2013 I have been able to focus even more on my art and music, I play regularly in the local folk clubs and Cromer “Folk on the Pier Fringe”. I really enjoy painting buildings within a landscape particularly those that are a bit run down, such as old barns. In February of 2016 I moved to Norfolk, having visited the area many times since 1975, the decision to “retire” here was relatively easy. I enjoy getting out on my old Vespa scooter with my sketch book and just absorbing this beautiful landscape.
